The art of misdirection

19 05 2011

We all love a good free-kick.

For the stag do of Berry in Riga, Dewesy, Cranners and, I think, Woody executed a perfectly rehearsed free-kick. However, there aren’t enough of them for my liking.

I was watching the massively-underrated The Prestige the other night and we learn just how much misdirection contributes to successful magic tricks.

So I was delighted when Weekend Starts Here (nicknamed because, at the pub on a Thursday once, he held his pint up and said in all sincerity “well boys, the weekend starts here…”) highlighted this great example of misdirection came in football.
